Bideford Amateur Athletic Club
Bideford Amateur Athletic Club is locally known as Bideford Blues, predominantly a running and rowing club we offer senior and junior recreational and competitive opportunities. We're friendly, sociable and warmly welcome members of all ages and abilities; our clubhouse offers our members excellent training and social facilities.
The Harriers running section of Bideford AAC was founded in 1980 by Geoff Fanson and Barrie White. Our running section offers opportunities for both recreational and competitive running and our Tuesday and Thursday night club runs are of mixed ability and pace (it really is a miss-conception you need to be quick to join a running club).
The Harriers running section organise three annual events, the Bideford Half Marathon, the Bideford 10k in May and in November he Bideford 10 Miler. Every year the club makes contributions to local charities from money raised from these races
