The Bideford 10k is a popular run between Bideford and Instow
The course is a combination of road and track taking in some of Torridgeside’s outstanding beauty, including a section of the renowned Tarka Trail. This is a moderately flat run with two small hills and should prove to be both challenging and a good opportunity for runners to achieve a fast time!!
A chip timed race – Race numbers with timing chips and information will be posted to runners.
Race momento for all finishers. Prizes in all categories (note that only 1 prize will be awarded per winner – overall prize winners will not be eligible for age category prizes).
Changing rooms, showers, bar and refreshments available.
We regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. No dogs, pushchairs or walkers permitted.
Competitors must be over 15 years of age to run a 10k

The start is on Kingsley Road by the Kingsley statue, just outside the BAAC clubhouse.
There is ample car parking in the vicinity of the clubhouse some of which are pay and display. Competitors are requested not to park in the nearby Morrisons supermarket except for the purpose of shopping.
How to find us:
From the East & North - Take the A39 North Devon link road and cross the Torridge Bridge. Turn left at the roundabout and stay on the main road until you pass Morrisons on your left hand side. The BAAC Clubhouse is on your right hand side 300 metres later.
From the South & West - Taking the A39 from Bude/Clovelly go straight across the Abbotsham Cross Roundabout and cross the Kenwith Viaduct. Turn right at the next roundabout and stay on the main road until you pass Morrisons on your left hand side. The BAAC Clubhouse is on your right hand side 300 metres later.
From Torrington - Straight across the mini roundabout at Bideford Bridge, along the Quay and sharp left at Kingsley Statue. The BAAC Clubhouse is on your left.
